Birketts LLP

£1,711.27 raised

Between 1991 and 2014 an estimated 66,090 ex-servicemen and ex-servicewomen left the military needing support for service-related physical or mental health issues. The Walking Home For Christmas campaign helps them to move back into long-term employment and gain independence, within a supported environment, and move closer to having a home next Christmas. These are not just veterans who are sleeping rough, but individuals and their families that do not have a home, live in temporary accommodation or sofa surf and have little to look forward to.

Over the last three years, Birketts undertook fourteen walks and raised over £4,500. This year, we are expecting more involvement and to raise even more for this very worthy cause.

Instead of sending Christmas cards I donate to a charity. I chose this one as I took part in the Walk from Norwich to Wymondham. Happy Christmas to all in Birketts Norwich office. Suzan
